That’s a good question Brandi. I’m not sure there is a weight capacity on the box. I tried looking. I will say this….the width of the chair is wide, so if you tend to have a wider bottom, this should still be comfortable to sit in. The only issue with that is it sits low to the ground. If someone is a heavier person, they may have difficulty getting in and out of the chair because it is so low. They really are comfortable though! I hope that helps
Comfort back chairs: A comfort back has a slight curve to it rather than the traditional straight back. You may want to sit in one of these models before purchasing because, depending on your size, the curve of the back may not fit you. .
How did your clean time resin before spray painting? I’ve been trying to get this done for over a year. I’m using a nice Mediterranean Blue, think Greece.
One thing that I have to mention with this chair is the sheer number of color varieties it has. Most companies will offer a couple like 5 -6 which is great. This company has gone above and beyond offering a total of 18 different colors so there’s most likely something for your outdoor setting.
I am most certainly not a big enthusiast of art but I cannot help myself but admire these lovely chairs. It is good that you decided to take a picture with one of them, else I might mistake them for a miniature which usually comes in dollhouses, don t you think?
The Adirondack chair gets its name from the Adirondack Mountain range in upstate New York. One legend speculates that the name was chosen for the chair because guests of a convalescent home for tuberculosis patients in the Adirondack Mountains enjoyed sitting in the chair to take in the therapeutic fresh mountain air.
The Highwood AD-KING1-ACE is our top choice for Adirondack chairs because it checks all the boxes. The most significant advantage that Highwood has over others is its remarkable high-grade polyethylene lumber material. Polyethylene lumber is designed to look like luxurious wood, but molded like plastic for comfort. This particular chair even can adjust your reclining angle, which the others cannot do.

This is made from recycled wooden pallets which were weatherproofed and cut into the desired shape. This chair holds true to its traditional design with its long armrests and a swooping seat. There’s a bit more flex in this chair which does make it very comfortable. This does come with a drawback for the heavier folks out there and if you’re over 250lbs then I would consider the chair that’s made for big and heavy people.
Dear Joanne: Plastic patio furniture can’t be recycled in your curbside recycle container: Its size and shape make it a likely culprit to jam traditional MRF machinery. However, your waste hauler may accept it, if they offer bulk-waste pick-up or drop-off, as the large items they collect will be handled on a more individual basis.
