Think about anything you want to do outside. For example, reading an interesting novel in your backyard, garden or such places. Having a cup of coffee or evening tea, you have very wide armrests that you can use to put your mug as you enjoy your sipping session.
One thing that I have to mention with this chair is the sheer number of color varieties it has. Most companies will offer a couple like 5 -6 which is great. This company has gone above and beyond offering a total of 18 different colors so there’s most likely something for your outdoor setting. .

With funding from the PLAY 60, Play On initiative, Wilder and his team were able to provide 3 free pop-up play days at local parks to serve all members of the community, including the 1,100 at-risk youth who attend after school programs every day. The giant chairs sitting on the edge of the park attracted a diverse group of people who joined in on the festivities. Overall, 7,800 kids were served. We have cheap wood adirondacks from Ho Po that have been repaired, but they were wood. I guess I'm stuck in the middle about those.
Few things feel better than whiling away the day on a shady porch, nestled in the deep recline of an Adirondack chair. Its hallmark sloped backrest, canted seat and paddle-like armrests make it easily recognizable far outside its namesake region. Occasionally retitled and regularly reinvented in polyethylene and plastic, the chair has become a fixture on lakeshores in Michigan, beach cottages on Cape Cod and grassy front lawns across the nation.
And this is a great deal on an Adult chair if you like pink for $13.75. I think it looks fun and bright- perfect for around the pool! You can grab the matching ottoman for $8 so a great deal!

I've also gone through a lot of these.....haven't found the solution myself other than to head to Home Depot to replace. They are very comfortable and durable, but don't last forever.
The front of the seat sits 15.5″ tall, which is a decent height considering its an adirondack. Most tall people should be able to get down to this height and slide thei backsides into the seat.

Opt for wood with very little infrequent maintenance needs once you’ve completed the project. Then you can sit back, enjoy, and not have to worry about retreating, revarnishing, or repainting it over and over.
Out of the three critical components to consider, the backrest is the most important one for mine. Without a fully supporting backrest, there is no chance you can find a comfortable position in a chair like this. Whereas, if you’re buying patio chairs, the backrest is less important.

Hi Gina. I just used a kitchen sponge with a rough side. Not all of the chalky stuff came off, but they were better than when I started. The paint did just fine without getting all of the chalky stuff off first. I have exactly the same chairs with the same horrible chalky residue on them. Did you have to remove the chalky substance before painting? I went to Home Depot to buy my paint (ironically Satin Lagoon and a Satin Eden). The guy there told me to use TSP and steel wool to scrub off the white chalky residue, then dry then paint 2 coats. So far I have only scrubbed 1 chair (I have 4 lol) and it was exhausting. Just wondering if you scrubbed that off first or am I wasting my time. My friends think I am crazy to waste so much time painting 17.00 chairs lol.
