Our customers often drive several hours to save money on poly outdoor furniture. Folks often express concern, over the phone, that something must be wrong with the furniture seen on this website since the prices are so much lower than poly outdoor furniture sold elsewhere. It is quite common that after our customers see the furniture in person, they load up as many pieces as they can fit in their vehicles. This customer called from New Jersey to reserve maybe a porch swing and maybe some folding Adirondack chairs if they liked the furniture after seeing it in person. They ended up buying 8 folding Adirondack chairs, 1 porch swing, 6 Adirondack footrests, 4 accent tables and 4 bent poly rocking chairs. I think it's fair to say they liked what they saw when they got here!
Thanks for sharing. People really do love these Adirondack chairs. They are in stock at my Costco in CA, but I’m sure they won’t last too long on the shelves. Glad you found them! .
Sit with your friends and check out the amazing views across the course. The seats are made with a classic design with large and wide backs, seats and armrests. From the back of the chairs, you can see that these are made of lumber and surely have been waterproofed to retain their lovely white color.
Plastic, you get a more modern feel but may look cheap. It’s easy to maintain, and the cost is more affordable.
Dear Joanne: Plastic patio furniture can’t be recycled in your curbside recycle container: Its size and shape make it a likely culprit to jam traditional MRF machinery. However, your waste hauler may accept it, if they offer bulk-waste pick-up or drop-off, as the large items they collect will be handled on a more individual basis.
If you want something resistant to insect attack and easy to clean, look for polywood chairs. You can get these chairs in various colors.

A perfect example is the extended Adirondack chair I mentioned when I was discussing the types. The footrest is added to increase your comfort.

Center the armrests to the bar stools and then secure them into place with 1 1/4″ screws.
The term industrial chair can have multiple meanings; a stylish aesthetic trend to complement your home or simply a chair to be […]
Can you share which Bay Area stores you found these in? I have checked San Leandro and Danville but had no luck. I’ll try Concord today and Richmond is also not too bad a trip for me. These look like such a good deal though that I would travel to SJ or the peninsula to pick up.
Cedar: While not as tough as teak, cedar does make a more durable chair than pine. The wood has a natural oil that resists bug infestations and decay. Like pine, a cedar Adirondack chair will need to be refinished every year or two. Cedar naturally adjusts to the moisture found in wet climates, making it an excellent choice for chairs that will be left in the rain.
1. Virgin PP (#5) plastic furniture is technically recyclable, but most likely not recyclable curbside.
Out of the three critical components to consider, the backrest is the most important one for mine. Without a fully supporting backrest, there is no chance you can find a comfortable position in a chair like this. Whereas, if you’re buying patio chairs, the backrest is less important.
Place your wood on your sawhorse so you can work without having to constantly bend over. If you don’t have a sawhorse, you can get one HERE.
This basic Adirondack chair plan is one of the easiest and you will be able to complete this easily even in a day or in a single weekend. And if you wish to apply a coat of paint instead of wood stain, make sure to use a weatherproof coat especially if you plan to leave your chairs outdoors.
