The tutorial from April Wilkerson has a more homespun feel to it, but that also makes it friendlier and more accessible. Both videos are outstanding. April’s is right here:
How many cans of pant per chair or how many chairs does one can of paint cover? Thank you BTW, do you remember where you got those particular plastic resin Adirondack chairs? I’m asking because the new batch of A-chairs out there have been redesigned and I do not like the so-called lumbar support bump that they have now. Also, I have looked all over for the former design of the matching footstools. The “old” footstools were flat, not sloped like the “new & improved” design. Another case of a redesign that doesn’t meet many customers wants and needs. Thanks!
Traditionally, Adirondack chairs were made of wood. Today, there are more woods to choose from, as well as plastic and polywood.
So this chair can withstand all kinds of different elements and remove the worry of splinters, peeling, chipping, cracking, and rotting. As you can see this chair has been designed around being able to handle the various elements.
If you’re wanting a good solid hardwood beneath you as you sit and relax in your Adirondack chair, look no further. This option available on atomicbuys.com is constructed from some of the best known hardwood for outdoor furniture.

So bad, right?! To get just a bit more use out of them I decided to paint them last Spring. Painting these wobbly old chairs gave them another season. This is what they looked like after paint: (you can find that project here: Painting Adirondack Chairs)
Love your idea and the color! Went out and bought the exact same color (satin lagoon). I scrubbed my 2 chairs with a brush and used the hose to rinse and let them dry for hours before painting. Ran out of paint before finishing my second chair. Had to wait about 2-3 weeks to finish a little bit of touch up on 1st chair (due to back problems). I waited at least 3 weeks before even thinking about sitting on it. I also kept it in the garage for several days to dry right after spraying it (so it wouldn’t get rained on). I used an old towel to dry off the raindrops and noticed blue paint! Now I’m afraid to let anyone sit on it. I didn’t use primer. Any suggestions?
We have cheap wood adirondacks from Ho Po that have been repaired, but they were wood. I guess I'm stuck in the middle about those.
How did your clean time resin before spray painting? I’ve been trying to get this done for over a year. I’m using a nice Mediterranean Blue, think Greece.
Ask any tall golfer, and they'll probably tell you they have the swing advantage over shorter guys. That, however, comes at the cost of not being able to find the best golf clubs for tall guys... Thank you for visiting this site, I am here to help you live a smooth life as tall person or big and tall person. I'll help you get what you want when you want it. My name is Richard and I am one tall person enjoying living tall. At 6 feet 2 inches, I can’t brag to be among the top tallest people but that is worth a mention, right?..

These Adirondack chairs have a seamless look. The backrests only have five planks but are still wide and long. The armrests are extra-long and wide and the seats are higher from the ground compared to other Adirondack chair designs.
