We bought two of these yesterday in Las Vegas. We felt the same way having never sat in one, and were floored by the comfort. You mentioned they sell the side table and footstool online, but I’ve not been able to find either. Do you have any tips where to find them? Particularly the table. Great review!
Its long, slanted back, wide armrest, and sunken seat allow you to slide into a laid-back position. You can let your body loose because it supports all the right places for maximum relaxation. .
Unfortunately, teak is not grown in the US. It is imported from Asian countries. Couple that with its excellent weatherproof properties and outstanding strength, and you have one of the most expensive woods.
You can grab the wooden Junior Picnic Table for $42. These are so nice once the weather gets warmer and all the little people can have their own place to sit and eat.

Adding a few layers of protective paint and a sealant like polyurethane is also a great idea whether you’re using hardwood or softwood.
Many popular, plastic outdoor furniture pieces are made from recycled high-density polyethylene (HDPE/RIC #2). Though recycled HDPE may not be represented by a number, you might be able to tell a piece of outdoor furniture is made with recycled HDPE by the way it looks: It often has a vague wood-grain texture, but is shinier than untreated wood. Many current styles of Adirondack chairs are made with recycled HDPE.
Where did you find the spray paint? I found almost the exact same can you used but it doesn’t list plastic as one of the surfaces.
I am now working on the matching tables, and figured out a cool cross brace system today, using the shape of the chair side braces. Again, there will be 3 heights for the table plan as well.
